Take part in writing a unique song with others, from the comfort of your home!

While we’re in lockdown due to Covid-19, we are exploring ways for people to discover the art of songwriting with strangers through creating a unique song.

Citizens Online are creative songwriting sessions for people to meet and create music from our own homes using Zoom and facilitated by some of the Citizen Songwriters team. Please visit our Facebook page to learn more.

For this year's Refugee Week (15 - 21 June) we are hosting a special two-part Citizens Online course on Thursday June 11 and June 18 (4 - 5.30pm) for anyone who would like to respond to the Refugee Week theme 'Imagine' through song.

After Refugee Week, each course lasts three sessions lasting 1 hour each, over 3 Tuesdays (at 4pm) or Thursdays (at 2pm) - see options below - and includes learning about storytelling and songwriting and creating a unique song together on a common theme chosen collectively by the group (previous examples include, 'Life in lockdown', 'Together we are stronger', 'Kindness in a crisis').
